black ring around tortoise mouth

My tortoise has developed a black ring around the mouth, Does anyone know whats wrong?

I don't know for sure about your situation because I can't see it. But in general, discoloration around the mouth would require a visit to the vet. If your tortoise has infectious stomatitis, it needs antibiotics to survive.
