Blaze the Blonde Bomb Shelled Russian Tortoise

Blaze is one of the most animated Tortoises in my Family.

She is named Blaze because she is one of the fastest running Tortoises in our Tortoise Clan. She races to the food each morning, to her mate Flash, when she see's him in the yard, and to me when I come out to greet them. She always climbs up on my lap when I am sitting in the yard and falls asleep, she eats out of my hand and will follow me around my yard to beg for the dandelions I always have as a treat for her..All of my Tortoises are very special but Blaze seems to have bonded to me more then the others. Thank God for allowing me to share my life with these special gifts and additions to my family. As I am Native American all Tortoise's/Turtles are known as keepers of the Earth and I for one hope to keep it as clean as possible to honor their world as well as ours.
