tortoise can sleep even no light?

bcoz in our room if were sleeping we have 2 cloz the light so im worried..of what anything happened to my tortoise..
what is the best thing 2 do about this.. can u gve me some few things advice on how to take care of a bby tortoise.

Your tortoise can sleep in the dark. It's important to have enough heat, but that doesn't mean the heat has to come from a light. And if the air temperature doesn't drop too much overnight, the tortoise may need nothing at all. Think about tortoises in the wild. They don't have electric lights to turn on at night.

Tortoise Sleeping conditions

Your tortoise will be very happy to sleep in the dark. That's what they do in the wild.

A tortoise needs light during the day, but not at night. If you live in a very cold environment, it will need heat at night, but not light.

Keep it slow and steady.
