dog got to my turtle

Well today i found my red ear slider in the dogs mouth and i took im inside soaked him a bit then looked some things about what i can do to help him i rubbed him with iodine and he has some cracks on his shell no punture wounds on his body and no missing limbs he is walking around fine and im waiting awhile so i can put antibatic oniment on him but he is not bleeding it stoped so is there anything else i can do?
