My Tortoise keeps one eye closed most of the time..I have seen him with both his eyes open, but iam worried for the eye that he keeps closed often...Please help.

I have a seven year old tortoise no bigger than my hand (palm and fingers)...could you please tell me how much it should be eating on a daily basis. It stays in my room which is air conditioned...not too cold though....is it right for me to keep him indoors?

If the temperature and diet are fine, you will want to see a vet. Eye problems can become serious and cause blindness. A blind tortoise can't find its food and will starve unless you plan to hand feed it all the time. Even if you can keep feeding it, you ahve to think of what life would be like blind for an animal.
My advice is first to be sure your lighting and heating are good. Then be srue the diet is correct for your tortoise. If those are fine, see a vet as soon as possible.
