Filmy eyes

Hi, i have a baby aquatic turtle. he lives in a small tank with a heat lamp and i change his water 3 or 4 times a week because i do not have a filter yet. i noteice that sometimes when i take him out to crawl he has a whitish clearish film over his eyes that he wipes off with his hands.. and when he wipes them i can kind of hear the film pop...? what is it and what should i do?

Turtle eye problems

Go NOW, not later, to a vet. Your turtle needs Vitamin A or an antibiotic, maybe both. The vet will know which and in what amounts. There may also be things about the habitat that need to change. At the very least, get a filter and keep the filter clean.
