I have 2 1 1/2 inch RESliders. One bought from awful conditions (seems healthy) the other from a good pet shop -and this one has flaky skin which falls into the water. Asked shop owner and he said some are just like that. But I'm not sure. Had him for nearly 2 weeks now in filtered tank ( with his 'friend') with heater set to 27 and big basking area which he uses sometimes. He eats 1-2 tiny shrimp or pellets a day. And seems healthy in other ways. Swims ok eats well etc I'm just worried as he is very flaky and has been since I got him. Will it stop? Does he need medicine? Change of diet or anything I can do? Thanks
