i need help

I live in Africa at the moment and i just got a new baby tortoise. I'm not sure what type it is and I'm not sure what to feed it. so far we have checked out 29 websites but all of them say that something is good for it and others say that its poisonous so if you could help us find some food that is definitely safe and the food that is definitely poisonous that would be so kind of you.

African Tortoise

You didn't show us a photo or describe your tortoise, so it's not possible to say exactly what it should eat and what would be bad for it.

You also didn't say where it came from.

If it's a local tortoise, it will browse happily among wild plants. If it is from a pet store, the pet store owner should be able to tell you what to feed it.

Keep it slow and steady.
