I think my tortoise is sick

We were just given a redfoot tortoise (adult) But i think it might have a cold. I sounds like it might have the sniffles and almost sounds like it sneezes. I have read all I can find and i have it set up with a basking area of 85-90 degrees.It is in the house and our heater is set at 70. we have only had it three days. it has eaten some apples and the pellets they gave us, so it is eating and drinking. I am just worried so wanted to ask someone with expirience. thanks for all help.

is it possible?

This was sort of a rescue,a freind had it for about a year and was taking minimal care of it and they said it has been doing the sniffles thing for about 6 months. but it never got any worse. So I don't know how concerned I should be.

Sick Tortoise

It does sound like a cold. Respiratory problems are common in tortoises. Keep an eye on it. If it doesn't get better, be sure to see a vet.

Keep it slow and steady.
