Is My Desert Tortoise Choking

We have a desert turtle. We believe he ate a small plum that fell off our tree and it looks like the seed is stuck in his mouth. It sounds at times like he's chewing on it. Is he choking on it or should we take him to the vet or will he spit it out on his own?

Choking

Thank you. She was still breathing and stayed in her corner all day. I went out again to give her a plate of food and she got up and ate it all. Apparently she was fine. Thank goodness. Thank you for your input.

If he can still breathe, he's probably OK, but if you are worried, you can see a vet who will have ways of taking care of this that you don't have.
