How active should a two month old leopard tortoise be? He eats and drinks only when I put him at the food and water, also that is when he will explore a little, but then will go and hide and sleep. Usually won't come out of hiding unless I get him out. I have had him three days. Have not found any poop yet. Basking 98 degree, other spaces 89 degree. Sphagnum Moss,on top of plastic artificial turf for substrate, timothy hay and alfalfa hay always available. UVB/UVA basking bulb, two 60 watts regular bulbs for heat in other area. He is in a 4'x3' room. Is he still too little for alot of activity or should he be exploring more? Any help appreciated.
