i would like to know why all the people on the computer and that i have heard off have more then one tortoise.and can you house yore tortoise with other exotic animals like hedgehogs etc....

Not everyone has more than one tortoise.

Tortoises do not need animal friends. We do not need other tortoises and we do not need other exotic animals. We are solitary creatures.

Some people do have more than one tortoise. Sometimes that is for breeding. For that, you do need more than one tortoise. But if you do have more than one tortoise, you have to have lots of space. Tortoises like privacy.
