Hi, I have a Murray River Turtle about 8 months old, we have had him from 2 weeks. A couple of weeks ago the family went away for the weekend and when got back we noticed that he had started hanging around the bottom of the tank more often. He normally takes food from out of our fingers and is normally happy for us to stand at the tank and watch him. Now he rarely comes up, wont take food from us and seems to cower in the back corner under his platform. It is not the first time that we have gone away and our neighbours feed him for us. Is he ok? Why has this happened all of a sudden?
