Noise making

My tortoise hasn't eaten for a week now and we took it back to the pet shop as i have only had it for a week and half. They said there was nothing to worry about and it was just dehydrated so everyday i have been putting it in to the water to make sure it becomes rehydrated. It is however making a noise every now and again like a wheeze/sneeze noise. He does this when it opens its mouth and looks like its yawning. Is this anything to worry about? He isnt half as active either and spends most of the day with his eyes closed and using its front legs to scrath/wipe it's eyes. Any information would be appreciated.
