only craps sticky liquid!!

I have a star tortoise about three months old. For the past few days it seems like it?s going through a lot of pain while trying to crap....the head goes in and the legs come out (seems like he's putting a lot of pressure)....and the only thing that comes out is white sticky liquid nothing besides that. It eats fine. Don?t have a vet I can show him to.

my tortoise got alright after a few days however again started with the same problem. it is only crapping sticky transparent liquid(sometimes with some white liquid looks like white paint along with the transparent liquid).

i put it in warm water everyday but that doesnt seem to help and he also doesnt drink any water. how do i make him do that. he hasnt crapped for over a week and im beginning to worry. it only eats lady's finger and nothing else. i take him out in the sun too . dont know what im doin wrong. cant take him to the vet. not suppose to keep them in my country.

You also need to make sure that you are not giving your tortoise fruit. Fruit is very bad for your tortoise and can actually end up being lethal to a tortoise if that is there main diet. Flowers are a great substitute for fruit and tortoises love them! Just make sure that they are not poisonous to your tortoise, list of poisonous flowers for tortoises can be found easily online.

What color is it? If it is brown or green then add a bit of timothy hay to the diet. If it is white or clear, then you should be soaking your tortoise more so they can drink more water.
