Red eared slider Docent swim to the bottom

My bby red eared slider docent swim to the bottom of the tank... But when I force it to it swims to the top is there a concern if it docent take a swim to the depts of the tank?

forced swimming

Please don't force any animal under the water. You could drown it. Your turtle will swim exactly where it wants to swim, and that's just fine. The fact that you have forced your turtle underwater will mean that it won't trust you for at least a while. Be very gentle with it. Don't touch it unless you have to. Over time, you may undo the damage you have done to the trust it may have had in you.
