should I let my tortoise graze in the park?

I occassionally walk to the park and I was wondering if it is ok to let my tortoise graze there (with supervision of course). The park is almost always empty and has a huge grassy field.

Wherever you let your tortoise graze, be sure there are no pesticides. Ask whoever is in charge of the park whether they use pesticides of any kind.

Keep it slow and steady.
