Star Tortoise upset stomach

Hi, I have a Star Shell Tortoise and he is about a year old. He usually eats lettuce and other vegetables and loves fruits. His urination and stools have been normal for a long time but of late his stools are very watery, also his urine is tinged with ercreta. I have tried a bit of arraroot but it has not helped much. Any suggestions as to what I should give him for his loose stomach?....

Loose stools

I had heard that it is not good for tortoises to eat fruits in large amounts.It should be fed in small amounts on occasion, although this may be diff for different species of torts. And lettuce is low in nutrients and high in water. Your turtle may need higher fiber foods such as timothy hay and collard greens.
