my terrapin fell on its back i thought it was dead but when i picked it up it moved so what happens if they are left on there back

Many Tortoises fall over on their back, if it stays that way in the sun for to long it can die, if you caught it early, soak in a shallow warm bath and watch it to see if it responds well. If not contact a Vet asap.....
