How can you tell the age of a sulcata tortoise?

If a tortoise is young, the size can give you an idea of the age.

Otherwise, the only way to know how old a tortoise is, is to be there when it hatches.

PS. Counting the rings on the scutes of the shell does not work. We are NOT trees.

Keep it slow and steady.
