Two map turtles with swollen eyes

Two maps with eyes shut. Went to vet, gave them Vit a shots& two kinds of eye drops+ said to feed them dark green vegetables high in Vit A. Is there something I can add to water to help them? Really worried.

I'm sure the money tree would be great. Antibiotics are probably called for if the Vitamin A didn't work.

Eye infections can be so serious in turtles and tortoises!

Update, Vet gave them Vitamin A shots and eye drops. Still no results. Told by vet to continue to observe. Might have to administer antibiotics. Could use a money tree at this point. Does anyone have any idea what else I can do. Did a lot of praying too.

First of all, good for you for getting medical help. That's really important in the case of eye trouble. I imagine the shots had to do with antibiotics.

Your part is to keep the water as clean as possible so infection won't continue or spread.
