uvb lamp

do i have to have my uvb lamp on constantly even when my heat bulb is off or can i turn them both off?

The UVB light replaces sunlight for your tortoise. You would not want to have it on all night.

Check the heat requirements for your type of tortoise to know what to do with the heat lamp.
