what should i do for inactive desert tortoise

my desert tortoise isnt active anymore and is afraid of everything, it wasnt earlier, and it was recklessly brave. what should i do?!

Any idea why it has changed its behavior?

Is it trying to hibernate? Has a new pet in the family (or a human) invading its space? Is the temperature significantly lower?
