what would short neck turtles eat in your kitchen??

well i found a short neck turtle on the side of my rode and i dont know what he would eat can someone help me and fast i really need to know what they can eat in the kitchen like what greens and fruits! please help me!!

Hi, I also found a short neck turtle on the road and i am about to release him back this weekend at a near by pond, you should probably find a suitable pond for yours aswell. While he has been with me i have fed him and they can eat small bits of raw meat (steak,) raw fish and raw salt water prawns. I have fed mine raw salt water prawns but you must soak them in fresh water first and cut to small peices. they will also eat fruits & veg such as pears, squash, sweet potatoe, etc: depending if its a young or old turtle, younger ones eat more meat and older ones (15cm+) eat more veg & fruit. hope he goes ok :)

g'day, you can feed him frozen fish square, you can buy them at a pet store
