I don't know what pellets that are available to you, look for calcium fortified turtle pellets, now in Canada, we have a good variety, and I personally use, Wardley reptile Premium sticks, they have calcium fortified, with good vitamins and minerals. at 6 months I added romaine lettuce and english cumber, have also used duck weed, other small fruits and vegetables as a treat, but mostly lettuce and cucumber.. he loves it, his diet is simple, but he has a very hard shell, and very bright eyes..I am very consistent.. if you want any more information you can email me at s-u-s-a-n1@rogers.com I hope this helps...sincerely, Susan.

which type (rbaby red eared slider) by: Susan
Hi, worms can have parasites, and will not provide him with a complete diet...I would not feed him worms, try and get him on a calcium fortified Pellet diet for turtles..feed him 2-3 in morning and 2-3 in evening.. hand feeding works great, feed him in his tank when he is in the water... then he will get out to bask under his UVA light (upper 80's-low90's) to digest his food, and UVB light will help keep his shell hard...as he gets around 5-6 months throw in some romaine lettuce etc into tank, full of vitamins and minerals. I hope this helps..sincerely, Susan.
