I recently found a turtle at a local pond. I decided to keep it because it looked like there may have been an over population plus i thought it was beautiful. It's an Eastern Painted Turtle. Now, I have a great enclosure for it and it seems to be doing well. However, I took a look at it and right in back of the side of the shell, there seems to be a strange hole. This hole is like filled with skin or something weird. Im sure what to do about it. Is it bad? Can I fix it?
