My African Sulcata is very young and its shell is about 3.5" long. Yesterday I was watching it crawl around in our back yard. It picked up a piece of quarts (rather jagged) in its mouth and before I could get it, it swallowed it. It seemed to have a hard time swallowing it, but it did. The rock is bigger than its anus...quite a bit bigger. I'm worried that it will get an impaction in its stomach and die. What should I do, and what should I expect.
